PvE is obit and wait, usually. in PvP there's a lot more, orbit is usually activated so you keep moving (helps you dodge miscles n shit.) But there's changing out of weapon ammo types (at least in my case.) and potentially turning on or off ECM or ECCM. The PvP combat in eve is a bit more intense than you describe, that's all I wanted to say. I haven't played ST:Online yet, but I plan on it.
